[Poll an Onion/Big Dong Cave]

Found the right farm to ask permission to cave at the second attempt. Next problem was getting into the entrance, which has a very tight fitting door on it. After much head scratching, and trying to dream up cunning systems of levers to get the thing open, brute force finally won the day and we got in.

The dreaded “knee wrecking crawl” turned out to be not that bad. Neither was route finding through the boulders. Saw lots of insects and a frog which was presumably hanging around scoffing them. Soon got to main chamber, readily identifiable by the large amounts of mud and having a roof sufficiently far away to allow you to stand up. Oh, and there was a stal hanging out of the roof (7m long allegedly). Which was nice.

Went to second chamber, admired the sump pool from afar due to the squalid passage between us and it, then pottered sedately out having been underground for a little over 2hrs. That’s about it really.
