It was nice and sunny (only cos I’d finished mapping!). So we combined exciting driving (my car did very well considering it had 5 people in it) sea cliff scrambling (with jelly fish as an incentive not to fall in) and caving.
Sparr cave isn’t very big or long, but it is very impressive with alien formations (well they are green) as well as normal ones and gour pools and cave pearls. I thought it was dead good, with a most exciting approach, and well worth going to.
Al found a box to put his van in, but after carefully carrying it back on his head it turned out his van was too big and the box had to go inside instead.
Then we drove the 8 hours back to Durham, it was a long way, but the caving was cool. I looked very hard for six weeks and I couldn’t find the dragons anywhere at all so they must have been hiding.
