Present: Led by Ben, with Chris, Chris S, Ellen, and Pete from years ago

Hello again, it’s Pete, reincarnated from way back in ’93. Having left uni and thinking myself well safe of the horrors of DUSA, I dossed around the world for 4 pleasant years when suddenly, horror of horrors I once again fell into the evil clutches of DUSA due to the efficiency of modern communications (ie I bumped into their web site). And today I awoke bright and breezy at 6am after few hours sleep and a long week. Pegged down the A40 from Ross on Wye foot flat on the pedal to get to the caravan early as all the dead keen DUSA team were running around frantically stuffing kit into bags and loading up cars in the pre dawn greyness, hyped and ready for a hard day’s grovelling. DREAM ON. Arrive caravan 8.30am, leave caravan for cave 12.30pm – DUSA is still a bunch of lazy wasters.

Anyway, down the cave.

Big stomping passageway was led confidently by Ben through twisting turning passages, criss crossing and turning into confusing mazes but not for a minute did he falter as we strode through the cave. Eventually found the streamway had a short stomp then headed back.
