Maximal phaff trip – didn’t get down the hole and we weren’t even back before dark! We walked from Helwith Bridge to Bar Pot via Horton and The Allotment. The weather was atrocious and by the time we’d got to the pot we passed it off as a bad job and walked down to the pub. If nothing else it proved to be a little adventure and showed the 3 ‘P’s are do-able in a day trip.
