We crawled for a little while until we arrived at the only pitch. Thomas rigged for a ladder descent. ok. It descended arriving 5m down from the sump.
We went to the main drain, Thomas and Al did some exploring; then reversed the process. On arriving back at the car we found some lads changing having done Swinstow pull thru’ in the ~2 hours that took us. – Good Show!

I got lost and Tom didn’t. Lights didn’t work. People did Swinstow pull thru’ in the time we did this. We didn’t get to the ‘main drain’ ‘cos that would be impressive. Wot we got to was the streamway. But we did rig the ladder better than some cavers from LSCC! I saw a fish, and so did Tom so nar. But no large mammalian from the serengetti plains this time.
