The weather was not good, so caving options were limited, and then further limited by our permit being for the wrong day. Undaunted we, or our glorious
leaders decided to go see Toyland in Valley Entrance. It ranged from damp, to wet, to soaking and from nice and big to stooped over, to an annoying crawl. Some of us got to Toyland – some of us didn’t. Some of us were mad enough to do a second pitch down into Main Drain – some went out to get changed and maybe warm! It was still raining when we got out……caving for the moment doth not look promising!
