This was great. Got to Bull Pot Farm, changed and walked across playing with lots of ice, karate and Gwyn’s artistic side much improved now I feel. Went into the cave, to discover that the ‘nasty tight and horrible Z bend’ was actually fine. The SRT was fun, even if some of the traverses were a bit challenging and scary. Descended to the depths of the cave (Jenny rigging very well) and wandered along the Main Drain a bit. To let Gwyn know where we were J+Al left their stops, and when we got back they’d had babies! (1 girl and some boys!) Went back up (pitch heads, I need more practice, traverses not so bad the other way along, rebelay on the 1st pitch: a complete and utter # # # # # #) Saw Magpie Chamber, lots of really pretty bits which were black and white, hence magpie. This was a great trip, even if we couldn’t find a chip shop for hours on the way home.
