Super-duper end-of-term mega-trip (County Pot)

Present: Ian W, Nikki C (first trip), Alex D, Pete H, James Co

An easy sojourn underground in foul weather. Added interest by taking the crawling passage high up on the right at the bottom of the first pitch, then continuing past Poetic Justice into the streamway for a bit. Then we all climbed Poetic Justice for the sake of it and decided to have a look at the Manchester Bypass. Unfortunately we couldn’t get through because it had recently collapsed so – not having brought tackle for the second pitch of County – we made our way out, this time going via the normal route up through Showerbath Passage and the 2.4m climb below the first pitch. A satisfying, if short, trip. By good fortune, we happened to arrive back at the cars at the same time as the other group.
