Parked at farmhouse, much better + shorter route. Got to Juniper, Franklin rigged first pitch after much confusion + swearing. Second pitch OK, bad step eventful as usual. Chris M nearly died (again). [NB must replace cows’ tails]. Rift passage was quite fun, third pitch even more so…
Chris discovered that a major rope mistake had been made when he nearly popped off his descender. Not enough time to re-rig so prussic out in time for dinner.
