Plans to photograph New Rift became photographing Lancs after we slept in at BPF until 10.30. Farmed Andrew off onto a Cambridge party (also photographers) then sat around whilst a faff of record breaking proportions ensued, and got underground at 15.30. Photos taken of Colonnades (lots), Fall Pot chamber, and main drain. Both parties planned to go upstream and come out of Wretched Rabbit, but since none of us had ever been there we inevitably got lost. We thought we’d found Oxbow Corner – it had certainly had lots of traffic – but went round in circles for ages and couldn’t find a way on. So we all trooped out of Lancs.
