We decided that we couldn’t be bothered doing anything hardcore and opted for an easy classic. A new improved entrance (plastic pipe having replaced the old rusty dustbin/oil drum) into a mid-sized rocky passage – room for walking/stooping/Al scraping his spine on the roof of the cave. Opens up into a chamber with a few holes that don’t go anywhere…More walking/stooping to get to a nice easy ladder pitch down to the stream. Mixture of walking + crawling in stream – saw 2 fish!!! Exciting stuff! Turned back when it got a bit squeezy, and went to wade in the deeper water. Chilly! Al and Pete found muddy passage which rejoins further along… Nice cave overall.
