Settled on LLC due to very wet weather. Unhealthily early start from Durham meant we were caving at the same time as the rest of the world, with an hour and a half hold up at Dolly Tubs pitch. The direct route was already rigged in triplicate, so we opted for the traverse route. Had to wait for the YSS group to go dowm, and were held up on our way down by them coming back up! But it was worth it for the view of the waterfall on the far side of Alum Pot. What can I say? Piece of pizza caving with a wee bit of underground SRT for the pups.
